RE: '86 5000 TQW - WARM START PROBLEM - TESTING FUEL ACCUMULATOR
>I've checked all vacuum and breather hoses, including the intake You You really need to do a fuel system pressure check to determine if it is holding residual pressure during hot soak.
A quick and easy way to check injectors is to let the car hot soak for
the required amout of time and then give it a couple of cranks without
starting and then pull the spark plugs. If there is a leaking injector
you will have wet spark plug(s).

Before cking the FA, I would ck the Fuel Injectors. As a rule, they
last
about 120-150k, then won't hold pressure in the system. You can get
warm
start problems, because the Cold start injector isn't firing. When cold
it
fires fine, when hot it pulses fine, it's the warm part that gets you.
Certainly could be the FA, but that's no fun (in price or project), and
if you
have lots o' miles you are probably due for injectors.
