When you say without starting it, I guess you mean just crank
it right (since it's not going to start in a couple of cranks if experiencing
these problems)?

Need to check this on my 80q aswell.

A quick and easy way to check injectors is to let the car hot soak for
the required amout of time and then give it a couple of cranks without
starting and then pull the spark plugs.  If there is a leaking injector
you will have wet spark plug(s).
