Re: Fuel pump noises - other solutions
My old garden variety 1984 Chebby Z28 beater has two fuel pumps-- an
electric one in the tank in series with a mechanical one driven indirectly
by the camshaft. I reckon earlier year models had a vapor lock problem
that addition of the in-the-tank pump solved.
