One thing to check:  a 1073 bulb is standard for many single-filament Audi
apps (front & rear signals, reverse, etc). It looks just like an 1156 USA
bulb, but has about twice the power (21 W vs ~10 W). Many POs just replace
with an 1156, even though they aren't any cheaper ($1 each). Check to
ensure you have the "euro" lights ;-O and not DOT lights.
