Isn't that a US bulb also?

1156 is somewhere closer to 21 W, not 10 W.  I believe 7506 (P21W) is 
the similar Euro version.

The Euro versions are brighter, although not night & day difference; 
however, the fact that they have nickel bases instead of corrosion- 
prone copper is enough reason to use them, IMO.
