Back when I (as the 'staff' part of my job) managed about 50 Audi 80s,
one of my customers (in my 'real' job) was Maizena, Heilbronn - part
of the Knorr group.  One of their main products was pea soup tablets
for the German Army.  According to the Germans, they're ideal stuff
to march about with - you can chew 'em dry, actually make soup, or use
'em in other recipes.
