As a consumer, I record that the Rover brand has vanished without trace.
I dont know what marketing they are doing, but none of it is impinging
on me - I never hear the word "Rover" on television or in the press -
none of the TV car review programmes ever feature the brand and it gets
zero column inches in the press. The cars, OTOH, are (IMO) uniformly
quite attractive in appearance and I hear nothing bad about build
quality or reliability. They seem to be a quiet secret kept by loyal
owners.
