RE: V8 Turbo

nothelle are a german company, notable for a 2.5l (stroked long block)
ur-quattro and s2 conversion. aimed at 300hp with much improved low-down
grunt. there was a full review of a ur-q with this motor in an old vw/audi
car magazine a year or 2 back.

someone on the list will have more information.

The company was Nothelle, and they're in England, if I
recall. They
were doing conversions for the 4.2 liter in the S8 and A8.
I'm sure they
could work that magic on a V8 4.2, but I imagine getting it
done on a 3.6
would be a custom job (although, I bet it's similar enough
they would do it).
However, as has been mentioned, this is (no doubt) an
extremely
		expensive process.

I recall from their ads that they were talking about the
specs on manual
transmission 4.2 liter engines- does Audi make the S8 in a
manual, or
did they convert the transmissions as well? If so, that in
itself would be
		exciting.
