RE: roast Aussie

yeah bob,

i thought that i should remind you not to forget to get your wife to order
the appropriate bits for the cooking. i've triple checked the fiche and i
can't find the part numbers for the pots. i know it's the biggest size
possible, but i'm also certain that the geometry didn't change. also the
appropriate fluids are neither green or red, and also don't appear on the
fiche, although i'm pretty sure that the fiche has at some point in time,
been half drowned in it (my memory of this event is hazy at best). anyway,
there is a lead time, so corral your aussi, but not too closely because
you'll need to wait for the parts...

i can confirm that the marinade works just as well with kiwis, but previous
experience with yankees leads to disappointing results. they tend to go
puce much earlier than the other two species. at this point, it is
difficult to proceed without the yankee singing something about the land of
the free, which can get pretty boring pretty fast. fortunately usually
about this point, the grass-eating stage starts. pommy's on the other hand
can consume at least as much marinade as any other, except that it is
difficult to ascertain how much because communication with the pom who is
either trying to headbut anyone who looks remotely fritz, or weeping about
their complete and abject failure in "cricket" or "soccer" (2 rather strange
and pathetic rituals of the species) is difficult. as you say to your wife
at this point "time to leave honey".

best of luck.

Kiwi? Is that anything like a Yankee? :-) Actually, I had
an Aussie in
my home a few months back. Regardless of what some seem to
say, they seem
		like decent types.
