I plan to ditch the box entirely someday and make my own Cone
Filter unit. Hell, you can get a K&N cone filter from Racing Shops for
like $15-20 so why pay $250 for Taps unit. What a rip-off. And they done
even include heat shielding. I will make a metal heat shield to
Completely block it off and duct in good fresh air to it from outside.
