'outside would draw air away' so to speak. this is why when you open the window
at speed it sucks all the important papers in your car onto the highway. just
how one o' them old fashn'd carboorator thangs sucks gas out of the bowl and into
the intake stream, how planes fly... etc.

well, depends. probably the front of your car is a _high_ pressure area, since
the air _isn't_ flowing across the front (low speed air = high pressure, high
speed air = low pressure).
then again, i don't know what i'm talking about. i'm sure we have a physicist
out there...
