Quattro Club USA Events ...are they worth it???

Just wanted some feedback from the list.
Would any alumni of QCUSA care to give me their opinions - pros and cons of
any QCUSA events they've attended. I live in Las Vegas,NV and am really not
sure of what to expect. The following is a copy of the email I received from
Karen/QCUSA:

Hello...The nevada event is $225. There will be a drivers meeting on Friday
night which is mandatory. On Sat. there will be some car control exercises,
such as slalom , threshold braking, cornering, etc. Individuals will be
divided into groups according to experience and then begin to lap the track
with instructors, putting together everything they've learned. Some
individuals may be "signed off" and able to drive solo in their run group,
if
the instructor has agreed. Sunday is lapping again with instruction. the
camaraderie is great.

It sounds great, I just don't want to be feel let down if something grand
didn't happen. BTW, what kind of stresses are to be expected to be exerted
on my car. My car has 120k miles on it and is still 99% showroom stock
without new suspension, wheels, chip , etc. I'm just not sure if it can
handle -track activities?? What does everyone think??

Thanks in advance- Alvin
