Phil, I generally don't argue with you.  However, I _seen_ this done on at
least 5 cars.  One is going strong after, wait I've been listed for about a
what, a year, so yeah, one year.  It will definitely get Dan home and allow
him to drive around till Linda or Didi or Rod sends him the hose, say this
weekend...

Obviously a better fix than duct tape.  However, duct tape is easier, and
I'd as soon pay the $50 for a new hose than do all the above.

BTW, I try _not_ to copy Phil as he pays for emails by the bytes (or used
to).  So getting it thru the list (once) s/b enough
