Aside from being a severe PITA, I think you might want to be able to PROVE
that HE is the guy who put motor oil in the tranny - if it is a standard
shift, he hasn't hurt it - just drain, flush, and refill correctly - some
of these older cars DO take motor oil in the tranny. If it is automatic, it
should be possible to flush and refill (change the filter, too) - a decent
tranny shop should be able to help. Also, did the transmission work when
you gave the car to him?

Sounds like you need to do a REAL THOROUGH lookover to see what else this
guy may have messed up for you (brakes, maybe?)

Which MB is it, anyway - year, model, engine, trans, etc.
