As I said. On the Highway. I do about 30,000 miles a year and
much of that is on the same long stretches of Highway where I go through
almost exactly a tank of gas on the trip. Perfect for testing. BP/Arco
Gas doesn't work as well. Car like Texaco/Cheveron. NOt sure about
Shell/Conoco/Exxon as I dont have enough data with these.

I NEVER said that. I said I get better Fuel Economy. Thats not
the same as more miles per DOLLAR spent. I bet the high Octane is close
to the same if not MORE money per mile but I get more power when needed
for climbing hills so this makes it worth it to me.

BTW, i run 8 degrees of timing so this may change things a bit
with relation to my car liking the High Octane.

Could be. But the fact is that I (in my car, and my girlfriends
car) get more MPG with Medium or High Octane. For me the Medium Octane
offers best compromise between performance, cost, Fuel Economy.
YMMD or whatever it is I'm supposed to say. :-)
Sorry if I sound agitated. Its not you. I just have a test I am
avoiding for B-law and I DONT want to take it. :-(
