An ex-girlfriend of mine had a ''71 6.3 and her vanity plates read "real
wood," since these were the last MBs that came with it.  I fell in love with
the car -- perhaps even more so than I did her, which probably explains why I
was eventually shown the door! -- and someday, when I stumble upon one at the
right price, in the right condition, I'm almost certainly going to buy it.
Ah, the automotive dreams of our youth ... first, the Ur-Q, then a 6.3 and
maybe a 308/348 GTB?  One down, two to go...  :^)
