Metric volume measurement problem

    Hello everyone,

    I know this is non-Audi related, but thought someone on the list
might know the answer to this....

    What is a hectoliter?  I was thinking it was = 6 liters, but that
doesn't seem to make sense.  This is in reference to how Germans sell
quantities of beer.  This one is in hectoliters.

    The price of one hectoliter of this beer is USD $96, so I am
thinking this is equal to a "keg" in america, or thereabouts.  Can
anyone vouch for this or give me an appropriate conversion.
