I had reported a few weeks ago about installing a Samco hose and bypass
valve (BPV) a few weeks ago. I reported that it felt like the valve was
bleeding boost BEFORE like 3,000 rpm, and the car would spool to 1.8 bar at
around 3,500 rpm. I didn't install a k24 turbo for that kind of lag. I had
the generic Bosch BPV, instead of the S4 valve, and was wondering if that
was the problem. I have sinced returned the car to stock configuration, and
it spools to 1.8 bar at 2,500, and spools between shifts are much FASTER. I
certainly won't return the BPV to this car, unless I go to higher boost than
1.8 bar.
