	i tend to use gaffer's tape, myself.  repaired the
	totally broken air thingy with it, god what's it
	called?  sits in the space between the windshield
	and the motor, under the hood, and has the strength
	of wet newspaper.  i rebuilt a whole section of it 
	with black gaffer's tape.
