Sean,
I'm curious. Why do you call it a Citrogen. It is Citroen. Is
that some sort of jab at the brand??? Just curious.
Anyhow, I loved the movie. I thought they could have matced cars
up a little better but oh well. Its been a few months since I saw it but
didnt they have an Old Mercedes keeping up with an M5 or something when
they were going the wrong way on the Free Way. That was a sweet scene
BTW. Probably loses the impact on a TV but on the Big Screen I found my
self dodging my head and thinking,
LEFT...RIGHT....LEFT.....LEFT....Ahhhhhhhhhhhh........BRAKE.....RIGHT..
Ok, you get the point.
Anyhow, there have been a few good movies with Sweet driving scenes in
them. The first one I ever saw came out in the late 80's and was called
Point of No Return" I think with Charlie Sheen in it as a Porsche
Thief. A couple of nice scenes in it including a high speed slide in a
Turbo around a Hairpin.
Next is a recent movie "Peace Maker" with the guy from ER in it.
Damn, cant think of his name. Anyhow..He is in a Mercedes SEL 500 or 600
or something and is trying to get away from some Russian Mobsters. In the
process he Completely Demolishes THREE older BMW 535is'. WHat a scene.
Really shows the structural Integrity of that Big Merc compared with the
smaller cars. A "Must SEE"
Third movie I have ONLY seen the driving scene from and I cant
find the movie ANYWHERE. I saw it on HBO or MAX or something in a Hotel.
It is a Jackie Chan movie where he is driving a Mitsubishi Lancer IV while
handcuffed to an Asian Girl who then Outdrives him. Many Rally style
spins (like they do when they win) and driving on two wheels and jsut
sweet photography and moves.
DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NAME OF THAT MOVIE?????
Anyhow, there are a few more but I'll shut up for now. Besides, I cant
think of the others right now.
