Andrew,
since you are not even a spec on their radar, you're fighting an uphill 
battle.  Your own insurance company should be going after them and 
having your car fixed in the mean time.  I went down this road with my 
UrQ.  You think you car is tough, try it with a grey market car that was 
here 2 years before it was supposed to be.  I also got nowhere until I 
had my insurance company subrogate the claim.  They basically sue the 
other company for you.  Win or lose, in my case I lost (still can't 
believe it) my car got fixed and I got no points against my record.
