Re: ur-q tie rods
Nope,
The one 4ktq people need is a Custom Front Right Tie-rod. Rears
are fine. CUstom is needed because ur-q unit has the bend and bolts up to
rack but the size where it enters Strut is to big. Many people have
2-bennet bend a new Factory 4kq Tie-Rod assembly to use. SOme have welded
4kq end to ur-q bar OR used a ur-q or 5ktq strut assembly or modified
stock 4kq strut to accept ur-q bar. Depends on what you want I guess.
I'm not sure what I'm doing yet. Probably custom bar since I want
to use 90q strut housings anyhow. Anyown know if 4kq and 80q use same
tie-rods. I want to use the 2-piece CQ/90q units for quick changeability
at rallies. Hope their strong enough.
