A4 Brake problem help.

I am unable to retract my rear brake piston back into the caliper. I
tried turning it clockwise but it does nothing!! If I turn it
counterclockwise it comes out but it won't go in.I need somebodies advice
please before I unscrew the brake line and drain the fluid to perhaps
relieve some pressure.THIS SHOULDN'T BE THIS DIFFICULT!!!!! PLEASE HELP
