Re: Ur radio



I don't know the Blaupunkt Toronto in particular bur years ago I
repaired the Blaupunkt of a friend of mine which had the same
symptoms.
As a normal function the tape would eject when the radio was shut off.
The problem was that the tape would never stay in, just like yours.
I opened up the radio and found a magnetic coil with one broken wire.
The coil should be activated when the radio is on. Turning off the
radio should result in the coil releasing the tape mechanism. I
soldered in a new wire and everything was perfect.

The wire broke due to flexing, anyone ever heard of this ;-) ?
