Attachments

Just to offer another point of view than those paying by use of 
bandwidth...as a digest subscriber, I have no interest in 
attachments, nor are they available via the digests.

I have seen superb executions of ASCII art to illustrate concepts on 
posts to this group, and I find that most of those on the group are 
capable of writing very clear, helpful directions and procedures as 
needed.  The need for attachments simply escapes me. By the very 
nature of this being an email list, communications on this list belong 
in ASCII text.  All we need to do is use this medium - a listserv - as it 
was designed to be used.
