Guess what ETKA says changed at the same time?

Uniquely (so far) the 1988 200 is the only vehicle for which ETKA
prompts for a VIN number after you select the model year. It offers
you a choice of 44-J-200 099 or before, or 44-J-200 100 or after.

If you choose the first option, it shows the early oil cooler and the
twin filter. If you choose the second, it shows the later oil cooler
and the single filter.

It supports the idea that the oil cooler and filter bracket changed
at the same time, but dates it early in the 1988 model year. Personally,
I think that's a bit late given that the ur-quattro (which normally
lagged the 200) had the same change in September 1987.
