I have (many times in the past) reused one of the pair of bolts because new
pads only come with a single bolt - expecting you to leave one bolt on and
hinge up the carrier to remove the pads.  Nothing has come loose yet and the
old bolts always look in perfect condition even down to the blue loctite
band.

What are the potential consequences of reusing these bolts?
