Eric, et.al:

Having recently had "shell" recovered and subsequently reinstalled
by me (see 3/2/99 post "My Headliner R&R Experience" for details) the
problem with regluing the clean fabric is that it is not the adhesive
that breaks down but rather the foam backing of the material that lets
loose.  You will be readhering with good adhesive but a bad foundation.
