I have to throw in my 2 cents here.  To Frank and many others 120 mph in
very light or no traffic is probably barely pushing the limit.  If you put
the same driver in a chevy suburban in the same circumstances 80 mph will
put you in the same situation. 

The other thing to consider is the driver and their level of experience and
confidence. For many it is probably insane to drive @ speeds in excess of
posted limits. This is all IMHO but I have a lot of personal experience in
stock and modified autos and sans the absolute illegality of "speeding" do
not feel (in the proper conditions) it is such a terrible thing.

I last thing while I don my Nomex; to steal a line from Tim O'Neil most
accidents come about from speeds that are to fast for the conditions.  So
know the conditions.
