True.  You can pick them all up from the same discount bin these days.  I
actually have '86 Audi 4000, 5000 brochures that I picked up in '86 from a
dealer in Columbus, OH.  Kind of ironic seeing how I have an '86 4000 now!
Now that I remember, they did seem pricey at the time.  Some things never
change.  I do remember one of the salesmen firing up a 928 to move it
around, and it sounded (at least to me) like a VW despite having double the
cylinders!  I guess it runs in the family.  On the other hand my dad's '84
Quantum was in the $15k range.  Best rear seats I've ever sat it!!  Too bad
it died.  I wonder if I could retrofit those rear seats in my 4000???
(Somebody please don't start that nasty backseat thread again!!)
