Re: 83 CGT Electrical Prob. -- No start --Part 2
An update: Replaced the fuel pump fuse and jump started car -- All OK. Then shut
it back off, replaced all but the cig lighter / radio fuse and the instrument
fuse. Rejumped car, all OK. Replaced those fuses, and still OK. Although
everything appears fine now (letting car run to charge battery, voltmeter on 13)
what in the heck could I have done that discharged the battery so quickly and did
not blow a fuse??? The battery is about 9 months old, and is not weak -- 850 CCA
Champion battery. Can anyone offer a suggestion, so I can fix the real problem
(if there is one) and so that I/anyone else won't do it again?
Thanks,
Alan
