4000 Lights...oh my!



Well, this weekend, the car died pretty badly at work...had to call the 
toothless tow truck driver and wade through traffic for 2 hours....sigh....

SO, we didn't install the heater core like we were going to...Sparco strut 
brace we couldn't figure out how to bolt on....Girlfriend went home to New 
York for a week.  So, there's been no satisfaction on the car OR love 
front....Chinese Dim-Sum making me want to puke...But anyway, we diagnosed 
the car prob as something to do with the wire as one looked like it wasn't 
functioning and was stripped down to the bare metal....So, replaced cap, 
rotor and Bosche wires....Works fine now....

Now the questions:

1.) Dash Lights - What type and number of dash/column lights does the 87 
4kq take?  The bulbs that makes it nice, bright and red would be ideal.

2.) Thermostat - 80c or 87c for summer or winter?  Is there one that is 
good for all seasons if somebody lets their car warm up for at least 3 
minutes every morning, cold or hot?

3.) Mounts - I've replaced the rear differential mounts within the past 
year and now I'm wondering what other mounts are worth my time?
How difficult are there?

4.) Power Sterring Filter and Fluid - Don't want to start another debate on 
this issue, but I don't seem to see any directions on the cap, except for 
"Mineral Oil", in the manual as well...How difficult and WHERE the hell is 
the PS filter?
