RE: Coolant temp sensor location?

Hi!

If this is at all similar to the 1990 200, then the unit
in question is the multi-function temp sensor hooked up
to the head at the point where the upper radiator hose
connects. It is a 4 wire unit. Apparently this was
replaced with a newer "unpowered" version to prevent
corrosion. These things tend to leak. My car has the same
temp gauge problem and is currently running on a "plug"
made of patched wires and spade connectors until I get a
replacement sensor when the cooling system gets done.
