Info needed wrt Tar removers, seat heater switches

I have in the neighborhood of several million microscopic tar dots to
remove from the pearl white paint of my new to me 200q. I've used the
Turtle Wax spray and liquid, along with the 3M remover. All clean really
well, but the dots remain about 80% of the time. Removal is only
accomplished with the edge of ye olde thumbnail. At 4-5 dots/in squared,
you can well assume this is a significantly time consuming task. So far
I've got 3 doors done. Any other suggestions? These puppies are truely
microscopic - only seen from 3-4 inches away - but easily felt! Removal is
like going from sandpaper to velvet.

I'm also looking for a pair of '89 up seat heater switches, if someone has
some laying about they're tired of looking at...
