RE: 200tqw blowoff valve and hose question
The tap hose is as rigid as a penis on Viagra, not a good thing for a turbo
car!
You better off with the OEM hose (not sure it will fit), if not, you could
use an intercooler with a third (small) opening as your "pop off" valve
outlet,

Subject: 200tqw blowoff valve and hose question
I am about to order every hose and sensor/sender for the wagon (1989).
Since I am going to add boost at a later stage, I figured that I should
not order the intercooler-to-turbo hose, but get one that will
accommodate a pop-off/blow-off valve.
I see from www.stationwagon.com that a popoff valve is available from
the 91 20v 200q. What's the best way to incorporate this into the 89?
Will the 91 turbo-intercooler hose (I assume this is where the popoff is
installed) fit the 89? If not, what are my other options?
Just spoke to TAP. Their silicone hose with flange, and pop off valve
costs $260.
Thanks. Samir.
