A '97 S6 update

Folks,
After the past two crazy, sleep deprived days I can now say that that
car already has my bid on it and in a few hours my Registered Importer
will be en route to Toronto to arrange the paperwork and delivery.

My good friend Philippe from Metrix Canada (quite a few Listers  have
Euro headlights on their cars, sourced from Philippe) happens to live 20
min away form that dealership and later that day he at my request went
through the car with a fine comb.

My most sincere thanks to the great many of you who responded with
advice and/or offered help in arranging a local mechanical check-up of
this car in Canada.

I will keep the List posted on the progress of the whole deal.
