Anyone going to the Sea Otter?
It's a number of bike (bicycle) races next week/end - March 16-21 - at
Laguna Seca, if you don't know that then you probably weren't going.
http://www.seaotter.org for details.
And the reason for this note would be that I am going to be there Friday
through Sunday, and would like to meet up with any area quattro enthusiasts
with some free time. Unfortunately fun-wise - but better for my wallet - I
won't be driving myself but instead providing a co-driving body for some
friends, from Boise onwards. Some sort of Cummins/Dodge with a camper,
sounds like great fun. And I'm probably not going to want to be bopping
around the BA in it any more than absolutely necessary. My mtb race is
Sunday morning, I don't have any specific time commitments other than that,
but am planning to also meet with a college buddy who lives in Palo Alto;
his girlfriend might be going to the race, but we'll probably try for
dinner either Fri or Sat as well, this could possibly be combined with a
quattro "event". Um, he has a Cherokee but seemed to enjoy riding in my 200
at Taos last year.
I'll stop bothering the ROW now, interested parties email me - hah@srv.net
- and we'll work something out. I'd be interested in an ur-q ride, too bad
no t*rsen party tricks tho.

1991 200 quattro, 100k, but wait, going to Texas (Dallas/Houston) the two
weeks after that (~3/24-4/4) for an easy 2000 miles, should I put the
summer wheels on...
