If your looking to "upgrade" you are looking at more than just a lower
airdam. It sounds like you saw something aftermarket and I am not aware
of any add-on body pieces to modify the stock bumpers on the 93-95 90.
But if you want to put the V6 90 airdam on your '88 90 it is not all that
straightforward. The 5mph aluminum bumper needs to be cut quite a bit
and the bumper shocks don't allow the cover to seat absolutely perfectly.
Also, you must deal with the headlight washers. On my '88 90 that I
converted to a V6 90 front bumper, I deleted the washers.(cheaper and
gives a cleaner look). Furthermore, the way the covers mount are entirely
different so I had to immprovise and make some bracketry. Lastly don't
forget to change the paint scheme; that is the upper portion on the '88
needs be black and the lower portion body-color to match the rest of the
car.

Good luck,
