Subject: CC OBD ERROR 15.1
Hi Sean; I had a similar error (car would get stuck with no heat, or too much
heat). I pulled the electrical connection to the flap motor, used some DeOxit
D5, and put it back together (also cleaned/lubed it all). Been fine for over
a year. Took about a half hour or so, including using the shop vac and
pulling the wiper motor assembly off for better access.
This was on a '91 200q; probably a similar CC design.

I've just checked my Alldata disc for an error that I've received off of the
Climate Control On-Board Diagnostics, it's 15.1.
The description of the error is:
"Air Flow Flap Motor Potentiometer (G113), static open
Digital value internally programmed for limp home mode."
Ok, so now what? Alldata is not exactly a help in this regard, it'll tell me
what's wrong, but not how to fix it. Do the Bentley owning crowd have any
insight into this problem. I'm hoping its just a cheap (ya, right) sensor
that I can easily replace or, better yet, clean.
