True. You'll have to be careful comparing with other MBs, too.
The end of that pipe should always be plugged. There is no vacuum
connection to the warm-up regulator on the MB - what was a mechanical
feature on the WR is in HD6303 microprocessor code on the MB.
Audi changed the plumbing to relocate the feed to the wastegate
solenoid valve from unthrottled to throttled air about halfway through
the MB's production run. This subtelty doesn't show up on the
underbonnet diagram. The plug is probably 049 133 335.
