'84 4KQ Questions

I have been looking to buy an '84 4KQ because I like the older bodystyle and
the exclusivity of only one year of production stateside. I recently looked
at a black one with brownish cloth interior and when i wasn't interested,
passed the info on to the list. I mentioned that I wanted a silver one with
black leather. Somebody mentioned to me that the only interior that came on
the '84 Qs was the brown. Is this true? If so, could somone who might be in
the know explain to me more about the '84Q. I'm curious what colors it was
available in. I am also looking for any knowlege on structural differences
between it and later 4Ks such as crash protection, sunroof mechanisms and
rust proofing. Would the interior from a later 4KQ fit in the '84? Does it
share the same wheelbase as the Ur-Q? Is there anything else I should know
or consider going after the earlier car? I know it shared the dash with the
Ur-Q and thus has rear roll up windows. I know it had the 5cyl and from what
I have seen it only came in a manual tranny which seems like a very good
thing. Gotta love those early automatics.
