Re: Boston area qlisters
Bought my 4KSQ from them 3 years ago. At the time, they seemed very
'fly-by-night,' so I never went back for service because I got the feeling
they were screwing me. However, approx. a year ago, the chief mechanic
(Tony) took over entire operation, and things have changed considerably
since then. Tony knows Audis.
I've had some work done on both of my cars since he took over -- shocks,
exhaust, etc. and they are reasonable. I live 2 minutes from the shop, and
they always have 15-20 Audis out front -- usually 50% of them are quattros.
They have good prices -- they just had a 1-owner S4 (92) with 100K that was
in exc. shape that sold for $14.5K - to another lister. I would have
bought that car-- but I was too late. It was in real exc. shape.
Good cars, decent service -- but have the cars checked out by a 3rd party.
If it were me, I would purchase a car there, but I'd probably take it to
the Benz Den in Belmont for service-- unless I was in a jam.
