Well, that, and the M5 would kick it's ass.  One of the two.  I'm pretty sure
that it can't keep up with any of the imported supersedans except maybe the
XJR, which has horrific handling characteristics.  M5 is already here, I doubt
that Audi will be able to justify selling the S8 at the same price as the M5,
which it would undoubtedly have to do. the Merc E55 is no sloutch, either.
Yeah, none of them are all wheel drive, but how many people that buy 80,000
sedans spend significant amounts of time in the snow?  If they do, they
probably have 2 cars..  My dad drove his M5 in the snow once.  Doesn't work
well.  That's why he has a Suburban.
