Agreed that the Contour is light years ahead of the Tempo, but they are still
throwaways here in the NE.  One VERY large buyer of auto wrecks must have
gotten  50 in since Nov.  Some (16 mi. and mild/medium rear quarter hit) get
cut up no matter what.  I've been told that with their low resale value, there
is no profit in fixing these.  All I know is they are pouring in to the
wreckers in numbers disproportionate to the number being sold.
