Re: Tempo Quattros

I dunno; spent a lot of time in various rentals (on-site contracting),
better than most other rentals.

Wow! I almost don't even know where to start here. I have NO IDEA what type
of Audi you ever drove, but I'll imagine that the worst piece of crap Audi
ever manufactured is better than a blueprinted Tempo that someone spent $100K
upgrading. I've owned and driven many dorF's and this is their biggest piece
of garbage since the Pinto or Maverick. Wait, Fairmont Futura with a 2.3 and
a one-barrel carb. Please don't even pretend that the Tempo/Topaz was a good
or well designed or engineered car. It was/is not! Noise, vibration, and
cheap, illfitting plastic interior parts smack more of early run K-car than
Audi anything. I also figure you never did any service on one because dorF is
the KING of specialty tools, ALL different! I'm surprised they haven't
figured out a way to lock the oil filter on so you have to go to the dealer.
I'm done with this. If you are so fond of Tempo's come to NE Pa. They run
about $500-$1000 for a 90-92 model with about 100K miles. Come take all you
want.
