OEM is Boge. Last I heard, no turbo gas was available for the rear
anyway and everyone was quoting Boge hydraulic.

Again, rear is a problem. Koni rears were unobtainium, but Wolfsport
had some a few months ago. Expect to pay more than $100 more than
Boges. You won't find the rear Koni part number that they supplied in
the catalogs either... but they fit perfectly.

For stock springs, the Boges should be OK. Everyone I talked to said
they would wear out fast if you used stiffer springs.

Initially, the Konis were a little stiff with stock springs, (set
one turn from full soft), but after the beating they got at
Steamboat Springs, they seem to have loosened up a little.

No lift with the Konis. You'll still get the squat on acceleration and
dive under braking, but it will be slower. Same for lean. I'd think
that porpoising would be stopped though, sounds like your shocks are
really dead!

I'd let you try mine - I'm local, but it's suffering _really slow_
turn in due to the 195/65R15 Guardex snows it's wearing and one
is currently blown out and replaced with a Dunlop D8 (probably the
original spare)... there are no Guardex available locally at Discount
Tire at the moment.
