Isn't that like a $20,000 plus deal? This may seem silly to you right
now, but I would forget about it as soon as possible. Stress weakens
the immune system, which wards off disease and death. Not worth a less
than 1% mistake I think. You've already tried the easy solutions, any
others will cost more in $ and stress than the outcome is worth.
So the intermediary cost you 300 not 150. As i read the beginning of
your note I thought, "why not get the buyer, seller, buyer's bank
person, and seller's bank person (and all their lawyers?) all in one
room and do the deal all at once?", like a house sale closing. I bet
that could cost more than 300 though...
and how did a deal like this get screwed up? Sounds like they should
have cut you a check for the agreed upon sale amount, less $150, and
that would be that. Guess not...
