Part Numbers (PN) for Vac Hoses???
I've been resisting the urge to plead for part numbers from you folks, but
I'm not sure what else to do on this one. I put in an order for an EKTA,
but hasn't showed yet.
There are 3 primary vacuum hoses that I'd like to replace (the stalling
continues...) but without PNs, I don't know how to go about finding
replacements.
-First hose runs from the intake manifold to the ISV (strait, about 8 inches
long)
-Second hose runs from the ISV parallel to the first, backward to the rear
of the engine block.
-Third hose connects to the second hose via. a plastic elbow and runs up to
the throttle body area (plugs into the underside of the rubber waffle boot -
this one has a double bend in it).
This is a 1988 Audi 90, 2.3l (NG) 2wd.
All hoses are about 3/4 inch inner diameter. Any BTDT? I've replaced other
vac lines to no avail. Anyone had problems with these hoses? Am I wasting
my time replacing these? They seem to fit a little sloppy, and have been
sprayed with oil and grease over the years. I figure it couldn't hurt to
change them out.
Thanks in advance.
