RE: Application for alternator PN?

Dave,
I am not sure about the specific part # but I have here two Bosch alt. that
were rebuilt by Bosch and were tagged as 110Amp.
They are 90Amp. only!
I guess it is a known issue since when I got them I was told that they are
90Amps even though the tag said otherwise, physically they are the same as
the 90Amp. alt.
BTW, we did check them on a bench and they were only 90Amp. we also found
out that the 110Amp. is only good for 100Amp. the diodes can't handle more
than 100Amp.
I can rebuild the 90Amp to be 150Amp (with a 14.8Voltage regulator), BTW,
physically the 110Amp and the 90Amp are nearly indistinguishable (save for
the different mounting)

While skulking around this morning I found the 89 has a 110 amp alternator!
The mounting doesn't appear to be changed. The PN is 034 903 151F. Anyone
know what this originally came on?
