If the new Audi is an A4 with sport package it sits about an inch lower
than a non-sport package car.  Just might be the difference between
clearing the object or hitting it, or minor vs. severe damage.

I vagule remember some posts when the sport package cars first arrived in
the US & folks were reporting lower fascia and more sever damage because
of the lower heights of the sport package cars.
